 Thank you for your letter
it has been a long time since I wrote to you. My job and the people
around me make it hard for me to listen to your programs, as if I'm doing
something forbidden. Together, with some of my dear students, we
listen to your programs, but I still find that what I learn about Jesus
Christ, just from listening, is very little. I have so many questions. I
also need a copy of the Holy Bible. I know maybe you have sent it before,
but the authorities at the post office never deliver it. Do you have
any alternative where we can be more in touch and I can receive you
materials, to know more about Christianity so I can teach my students?

After listening to your
programs day after day I decided to write to you. I would like you to send
me a copy of the Holy Bible. I know more about many principals in
Christianity and I'm ready to be a Christian and to learn more. Thank you
for accepting me as a new friend of yours..

I received your letter a
long time ago and I was very happy, because it inspired me to continue my
walk in the right path, to which I was led after a great struggle, with
the religious community and also with myself. Your letter had a great
impact for I felt that I as a brother who is far from me, is still very
close to me.
I want to apologize for not keeping in touch with you all this
time. I did try the Internet but it didn't work, and I also had many
problems which I will share later.
Your contact got in touch with me, and I was very happy. He helped me very
much to understand this great Book, which if people understand, would
follow the teaching. We studied and prayed together a lot, and he gave me
a few books. Unfortunately because of the disaster in New York, he had to
return to the USA, but promising he would return.
I continue my ministry of spreading the great principles, as you know I am
known in society and my father is Chief of Elders of the Yemeni tribes in
a part of Yemen. I could win many people to Christ, but I face a lot of
problems because my country is 100% Muslim, and in a short time the news
of my conversion reached my father who considered it a crime. He stopped
seeing me and supporting my University fees, so I had to return to the
village.
But all this won't stop me from my ministry, which I consider my duty, but
in our present state, me and my friends cannot accomplish all that we
desire because we need many things like books.

had the Gospel of John.

your family but why didn't you mention the name of your beautiful girl, so
please write to me her name and also send me your wife's picture. Also I
would like to have a tape with spiritual songs, also any other cassettes
you can send which will help us in our Spiritual lives.

Warm greetings, I am so
happy because you read my letter from your radio station and this gave me
assurance that you don't ignore letters of new friends or of old ones. I
am so thirsty for the water of your fountain and the best time of my life
is when I listen to your broadcasts and write to you. I listen to other
spiritual programs too, but yours is number one for me.
Dear ones, how sweet are the words of the Lord and how nice to the ears
which hear them and how comforting to the heart. Brothers, I love you very
very much and I feel that I didn't have a normal life before I got to know
you. Thank God for letting me get to know you and I will be your friend
forever.
Dear brothers, how I wish I could visit Lebanon and visit you and thank
you and testify how you took me out of darkness into the light. If God
Wills, I will do my best to accomplish and fulfill this desire.
Dear brothers, in Yemen many believe in Christianity but the law here is
that nobody is allowed to have any other religion than Islam. Though, in
the Koran, there is a chapter about Mary the mother of Jesus, where she
tells how Jesus was born, how she became pregnant and how He did miracles,
so I don't understand why the Muslims forbid people from becoming
Christians and the Government wants to have one religion. I wish I could
find the answer, do you know? Also explain to me Luke 12: 49-53.

First I want to tell you
that I received the books you sent me and I want to thank you for inviting
me to join your station as a member. I was delighted to know that, people
think about me, for your kind answer and your warm welcome as a member of
your club. But I want to ask you something, so that I may be convinced of
the Truth of the word. The Muslim religion has taught us many things and
the holy book Koran is a miracle and Mohammed is the sent prophet. So it
is not easy to leave my religion and accept another religion, unless I am
totally convinced and believe in the heavenly Jesus the Son of Mary.
This is why I'll ask you to tell me and to convince me how you can prove,
or what are the proofs that this religion of the Nazarene is different
from ours, so that I will accept this new religion without ignorance.
Please respond to my letter quickly, if you are happy and want to

teach the principles of religion and educate the listener. We are truly in
need of this kind of education and direction.

letter representing many of my friends, who know nothing about their
religion and this is because of the conditions of the country we're living

It is the first time I write to you, after hesitating for many years, when
I used to listen to your programs morning and evening - these programs
brought many questions to my mind, which I wished you could answer. But in
this first letter I will not ask any questions, because this letter will
be for acquaintance and for love-relationship between us.
It is no secret that I have already read the Bible, because of a friend I
had. He is an old friend of yours too and helped me to know Jesus as
Savior and Redeemer. His name is Hasain and I ask you to pray for him,
because he is passing through hard times as he chose the way of Faith and
salvation, sacrificing all earthly pleasure.
Brothers, blessed is he who hears God's word and believes in Him. Blessed
is he who carries his cross and walks in His way. I have a great thirst to

readings from the Bible. I don't have any religious knowledge and
education and I don't know about Jesus Christ (blessed be His name) except
for a little knowledge. So I'll ask you to send me a Bible (the Holy Book)

Warm greetings from
Yemen to my friends.
I greet you and trust that you are doing well and that God is keeping you
from all evil. I don’t know how to start this letter but I will tell you
what’s in my heart. The Voice of Forgiveness is a station I love. I
started listening to it daily and started writing letters to it. In my
letters I asked that they would accept me as their friend and I was
surprised when they accepted me as their friend and I received answers to
my letters and I became faithful writer to the station. I benefited a lot
from this relationship and we were able to exchange important ideas and I
started to learn more about the programs. It got to a point where my
correspondence with the station became something very important in my life
and this continued until the middle of 1999 where everything stopped.
I was writing letters without receiving any replies, especially during the
year 2000.
Recently I sent 7 letters but did not get any reply. What is the
reason for this?
I don’t know!
The team at the station have forgotten that they have a friend by my name.
They are ignoring my letters. But in spite of all this the Voice of
Forgiveness continues to be my favorite station all the time but I am
losing hope. I hope you will write to me my dear brothers, I am looking
forward to hearing back from you quickly.

you even though I haven’t heard from you since. But I am confident that
you have not forgotten me. I miss your letters and your wonderful
literature that you have sent before and I would like to receive more
literature including the book on the stories of Prophets. All your
programs are enjoyable for me, and particularly the programs with drama
and stories such as Unshackled, stories of the Prophets, and Verse and
Story, and other such programs. And I also enjoy the program College Life
Club which has an exciting style, so please pass on my greetings to the
producer of that program. Finally I’d like you to announce my address in
your pen-pal section and inform the other listeners that I’ll be happy to

copy of the Gospel to know about the Christian Faith, I know very little

I am a student in the
12th grade. I want to thank you for the wonderful program of songs you
broadcast each Friday morning. (Let Us Sing) It is a superb program I
listen to it and other good programs too. This is my first letter and I
hope we will continue to correspond together.

When I was a little
child, my father sent me to study with a religious elder. I also studied
in Yemen about the different religions and found out that there are a lot
of differences. I was studying them to fins what is true and what is not
true. Those that were made by men were weak but those that God gave were
perfect. When I received your letter I remembered that I promised God to
do my best to know him. I said to myself that I should not find any
mistake in a true religion because it is from God. This is why I decided
to study the Bible before giving any judgment. I went to the British
educational office and found a lot of books about Christianity but I
couldn't understand it because my English is weak. I am now studying
English with one of my friends to be able one day to learn about your
religion. It is also difficult to listen to your station or any other
Christian station. I am also a student and I can't afford traveling to a
Christian country to learn more about you.
I can't answer your questions now but I have some for you:
1- Who is God according to the Gospel?
2- Why did God create Man?
3- What is the position of prayer in your religion?
4- There are a lot of languages in this world. Which one should we use to
speak to God?

Thank you very much for
replying to my previous message. You asked me to listen to other spiritual
station and I did. But your station is unique because it unites the
listeners with the producers by a program called "Listener's Mail". I was
very happy to hear from you that you will extend the noon block
broadcasting for two hours and that you will stop your evening programs. I
usually don't listen to your evening programs because it is not clear most
of the time. But with this new project I can listen to most of your
beautiful programs because the timing is perfect for me. Besides, at noon
time there isn't any other programs from any other Christian station so
you will be pioneers in this aspect. You also asked me about the working
hours in Yemen... here they are: We start working in the morning at 8
O'clock (5 GMT) and we stop at 13:00 PM (10 GMT). Then we start again at
16:00 PM (13:00 GMT) and we stop in the evening at 20:00 PM (17:00 GMT).
So I suggest that your noon block programs starts at lunch time. May God

working or contributing in your radio programs. I consider myself a
brother to you and not just a friend. I have received your great gift, the
Gospel according to John, and your program schedule. I am an Iraqi Dr.
working and living in Yemen. I work in a remote village where I can
clearly hear your programs.
I have some questions and suggestions for you:
1- Sometimes Jesus or John the Baptist or one of the disciples quotes a
verse from the Old Testament. But when I look for them I don't find them
there. Why?
2- Jesus says in John 6:53-58 that unless we eat his flesh and drink his
blood we don't have life within us. I am confused and don't know how to
interpret this verse. Please help me understand it.
3-I suggest that you increase the time of your broadcasting.
4- I hope you don't repeat your programs because those who listen daily to
you can feel that you are repeating.
5- we need a program that explains the meanings of the sayings and doings
of Jesus Christ. People like me don't understand what we read and hear. We
just accept what we are being taught.
I would like to receive a copy of the Old Testament and some lessons by
correspondence.
