The goal and purpose of the MINI BIBLE COLLEGE (In the Shade of the Word) radio program is to, as Pastor Woodward so often says, "My prayer and desire is that the Mini Bible College will get people into God's Word and God's Word into people. Because wonderful and miraculous things happen when people get into the Word of God."

إن القصد والهدف من البرنامج الإذاعي "في ظلال الكلمة"، يعبِر عنه كاتبه القس وودورد قائلاً: "إن صلاتي ورغبتي هي أن يقود برنامج "في ظلال الكلمة" الناس إلى كلمة الله، وكلمة الله إلى الناس. فعندما يقترب الناس من كلمة الله تحدث أُمور خارِقة عجيب.
